Troop 119 has been an active troop for over forty years in New Braunfels, TX. We are part of the Two Rivers District in the Alamo Area Council. Although, it is unclear who the original Chartered Organization was, we have been represented by First United Methodist Church for a long time. The troop has had
some rough times in it's past but for the last three years we have excelled in membership,
advancements and merit badge work. The Scoutmaster, Dan Wilson, has the vision of Troop 119
becoming a premier Troop within our community through Leadership, Training and most importantly,
Service. We also have an outstanding Parent Committee, chaired by Rebecca Lynch, that is dedicated to
ensuring the boys have the resources needed to put together a great program of Scouting, as well as,
insuring we have dedicated, qualified, and trained adult leaders. We hope you'll come and visit us if your
looking for a troop, or even if not, we will still enjoy meeting other scouts and scouters.
